Studebaker
🥄0
Stir Gin, Sweet Vermouth, Cappelletti Aperitivo, Triple Sec with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.
In 1940, Spanish bartender Pedro Talavera included a drink called the "Studebaker" in his cocktail guide, "Los Secretos del Cocktail." This recipe appeared in a chapter dedicated to sports-themed cocktails named after car manufacturers and ocean liners of that era. While there’s no apparent connection between the ingredients and Studebaker vehicles or their presence in Spain, including an old mural advertisement in Seville, the drink didn’t gain popularity either locally or internationally. The only documented reference to this cocktail is within Talavera's book.
