Stir Rye Whiskey, Maraschino Liqueur, Peychaud's Bitters, Angostura Bitters with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.

I came across The Steadfast cocktail on "Crepes of Wrath" and was inspired by Food Network star Ted Allen's creation. However, I thought the original bourbon version would be too sweet, so I switched to spicy rye and cut back on the maraschino. This tweak is a definite improvement in my book.
