Instructions

  1. Add the simple syrup, Jamaican rum, rye whiskey, grenadine and mint sprigs to a julep cup or rocks glass.
  2. Press the mint lightly with a bar spoon to release its aroma.
  3. Add two cubes of cracked ice and stir until cold.
  4. Fill the glass halfway with crushed ice and let it chill, then top up with more crushed ice.
  5. Garnish with a fresh mint bouquet.
