The Spring Daiquiri is a favorite because I enjoy crafting unique syrups. My strawberry version captures the true essence of freshly squeezed strawberries without any artificial thickness or cooked flavors.

Instructions

Press basil leaves gently against the rum. Combine all remaining ingredients in a shaker. Agitate vigorously until thoroughly chilled. Pour through a strainer into a frozen coupé or Nick & Nora glass. Sprinkle with black pepper to garnish.
