- Combine all ingredients except the cream and soda in a shaker with a 1-inch ice cube.
- Shake until you no longer hear the ice rattling (about 45 seconds).
- Add the cream and additional cracked or whole ice cubes, then shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
- Strain into a Collins glass that already has 1 ounce of soda poured into it.
- Top up with the remaining soda.
- Garnish with an orange twist and a picked cherry.
