Scotch and Drambuie stirred with two dashes of Angostura bitters and served in a rocks glass. Sweet and honeyed, with the smoke of the whisky and a spicy, bitter edge.

Stew Ellington paired Drambuie with smoky Laphroaig in 2012, finding that the two suit each other well. Lemon bitters were added to balance the flavor.
