A large, cognac-heavy sour with triple sec and lime juice, sweetened with both simple syrup and sugar. Strong and citrusy. From 2008.
Sledcar comes from a variation of the drink served at Tracks, the bar inside the Pitcher Inn in Warren, Vermont. With no recipe to go on, it was rebuilt using proportions close to those of the Sidecar, and the maple syrup is what gives it a Vermont character.
