Instructions

  1. Chill the shot glass.
  2. Pour the vodka, Kahlúa, Cherry Heering, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker.
  3. Add one drop of black food coloring.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 15 to 20 seconds, until very cold.
  5. Strain into the chilled shot glass.
  6. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a lemon twist, and serve right away.
