Instructions

  1. Add the white rum, lime juice, simple syrup, maraschino liqueur and pineapple juice to a blender together with one 4 oz (about 12 cl) scoop of crushed ice.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a rocks glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cherry.
  4. Pour the dark rum into a shot glass and serve it alongside the drink.
  5. The drinker pours the rum into the cocktail before sipping, without a straw.
