Gin shaken with lime juice, agave syrup, damiana liqueur and mint, fresh and green with a rounded sweetness from the agave. Created by Alec Wise in 2014.
Alec Wise of Ballwin, Missouri, created the Sage Sling in 2014. It started from a Singapore Sling, whose idea the creator combined with the character of a mojito, after noticing a minty hint in the taste of sage.

- Combine lime juice, agave syrup, mint leaves, and bitters in a glass.
- Crush the mixture gently.
- Pour in the rest of the ingredients and shake vigorously.
- Strain twice into a double old-fashioned glass filled with pebble ice.
- Top up with more ice.
- Finish with a sprig of mint as a garnish.
