A silky whiskey sour with apricot, sherry and a little orange, lifted by Angostura and a light egg-white foam. Created in San Francisco in 2013 by Jen Ackrill, Darren Crawford, Enrique Sanchez and Brian MacGregor.

Instructions

  1. Add Tennessee whiskey, apricot preserves, lemon juice, orange juice, dry sherry, Angostura bitters and egg white to a shaker.
  2. Dry shake, without ice, until the egg white has foamed up.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake again until ice cold.
  4. Double strain into a coupe.
  5. Garnish with the three maraschino cherries on a skewer.
