Stir Apple Brandy, Cardamaro, Amaro, Grapefruit Peel with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.

Inspired by a recipe in the 1934 Laird's book on EUVS, I experimented with apple brandy and various bitters combinations from other cocktails. Mixing elements of an Apple Negroni, I created this equal parts drink. Naming it after Yukio Mishima’s novel "Runaway Horses" seemed fitting.
