Scotch and blended Scotch stirred with Drambuie, sweet vermouth and Angostura, served in a rocks glass with a lemon twist and a brandied cherry. Whisky-forward and lightly sweet. Created by Craig Eliason in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 2016.

Craig Eliason of Saint Paul, Minnesota, made the Roysty Nail in October 2016 for MxMo CXII, whose theme was mashups. The second version of the recipe combines an Islay Scotch with a standard Scotch and uses Punt e Mes vermouth.
