Instructions

  1. Muddle the mint with the rose syrup in the bottom of a julep mug.
  2. Fill the mug halfway with crushed ice.
  3. Add the bourbon and the drop of saline solution.
  4. Stir hard until the outside of the mug turns frosty.
  5. Pack more crushed ice on top so it mounds above the rim.
  6. Garnish with a mint sprig and a few rose petals.
