Instructions

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
  2. Pour the rye whiskey, maraschino liqueur, simple syrup, lemon juice and orange juice into a shaker filled with ice.
  3. Shake hard until the shaker is cold.
  4. Strain into the glass over the fresh ice.
  5. Squeeze the orange zest twist over the drink to release its oils, then discard it. Garnish with a Luxardo Maraschino cherry.
