Instructions

  1. Add the rye whiskey and rock candy syrup to a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir until well combined and chilled.
  3. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
  4. Strain the drink into the glass.
  5. Squeeze the lemon zest and orange peel over the drink, then drop them in.
  6. Top with a maraschino cherry.
