Instructions

  1. Take two maraschino cherries and a spoonful of cherry syrup from the jar and put them in a rocks glass.
  2. Pour the rye whiskey slowly over the back of the spoon into the glass.
  3. Stir until the syrup has blended evenly into the whiskey.
  4. Serve at room temperature, without ice.
