A tall, fruity drink where gin and bourbon meet orange, lime and pomegranate juice, with Campari adding a bitter edge. Angostura and Peychaud's bitters round it off, and a lime wedge goes on top.
The Raindog dates to 1985, when a card game in a New Jersey shore town that sold no alcohol led to a request for a Sling. Only whiskey and absinthe were on hand, with no cherry liqueur, brandy, Benedictine or Cointreau.
