- Create oleo-saccharum: crush lemon zest and black sugar vigorously in a bowl to extract oils, cover it, and leave in a warm spot for an hour.
- Mix in the tea and stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Allow this mixture to cool down, then strain out the peel.
- Combine with the rest of the ingredients to yield approximately 25 ounces of punch.
- Pour through a strainer into a bottle and chill.
- Sprinkle nutmeg on top as garnish before serving.
