Quadrophenia

Stir Bourbon, Sweet Vermouth, Averna, Amer Picon with ice. Strain into a coupe.

According to Julian's account on Back Down South, he tasted the Quadrophenia before its debut in May 2012. An October 2013 Eater Atlanta piece mentions the cocktail’s components: house-made Amer Picon, Averna Amaro Siciliano, Four Roses bourbon, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino, and a flamed orange twist. The 2022 Paste magazine article offers measurements and includes Old Forester Bohemian Bitters, though it's uncertain if these bitters were part of the original recipe. Additionally, the piece suggests that the Amer Boudreau was likely the inspiration for this drink.
