Purple Manhattan
🥄0
Stir Rye Whiskey, Amaro, Aromatized Wine, St. RaphaëL (St. RaphaëL Rouge) St. RaphaëL (St. RaphaëL Rouge), Orange Peel with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.
In August, I created the Purple Manhattan as a twist on the classic black Manhattan, packing it full of grape and berry flavors. Initially, I went with an orange garnish, but later added a dark Luxardo cherry to complement both the theme and taste perfectly. While I thought about naming it after Deep Purple, that idea ended up being reserved for another Pasubio cocktail called Montreux.
