Stir AñEjo Rum, Madeira, BéNéDictine, Angostura Bitters with ice. Strain into a coupe.

The Provocateur was inspired by a 2010 whisky cocktail called the Prospector, created by Thomas Waugh. During our bar’s Rhum Barbancourt theme week, I crafted this drink, and its clever name boosted sales significantly.

Instructions

  1. Mix over ice
  2. Pour through a strainer into a cocktail glass
  3. Top off with an orange twist cut in a button shape
