Banana liqueur shaken with Averna, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino, crème de cacao and a little cream. Sweet and creamy, with banana and chocolate up front and a bitter, herbal note from the Averna underneath.

The Poirot was developed in 2019 by Elvisomar of Minneapolis, Minnesota, while testing Averna with a range of sweet ingredients. During that time the creator was watching David Suchet play Agatha Christie's detective Hercule Poirot, and decided the refined, meticulous Belgian would enjoy such a drink at the end of an evening.
