Plátano Imitación

Stir Mezcal, AñEjo Rum, Aperol, Sweet Vermouth with ice. Strain into a coupe.

I tried to replicate a memorable cocktail from a recent visit to a nearby bar that included tobacco bitters and Madeira. Since I lacked those components at home, I substituted the tobacco bitters with Angostura and black walnut bitters in equal parts, and used half the amount of Carpano Antica instead of the Madeira. The original proportions were unclear, but 2:1:1/4 seemed fitting for this variation on a Manhattan and Boulevardier mix.
