Instructions

  1. Chill a rocks glass.
  2. Add the Scotch, sweet vermouth, Bénédictine, absinthe and Peychaud's bitters to a mixing glass with ice.
  3. Stir until well chilled.
  4. Strain into the chilled glass.
  5. Spray the oils of a lemon zest twist over the drink and discard it. Serve with a slice of shortbread.
