- Asian spice syrup
- Combine 40 cloves and 5 star anise with 500 ml of 1:1 sugar syrup.
- Let the spices flavour the syrup.
- Cocktail
- Fill a rocks glass with ice.
- Stir the white rum, cognac, Dandelion & Burdock Bitters, Angostura bitters and the spice syrup with ice in a mixing glass until cold.
- Strain into the ice-filled glass.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
