A stirred drink of reposado tequila, rum and amaro, with a little crème de cacao and Angostura bitters. Bittersweet and spirit-forward, with an orange slice to finish.
Craig Eliason of Saint Paul, Minnesota, built the Original Cinn in 2023 on Banks 5 Island rum, but its vegetal notes made the drink taste of green olive. Appleton Signature rum replaced it to fix the flavor.
