Orchard Street

Stir Apple Brandy, Sweet Vermouth, Amaro Nardini, Dry Sherry with ice. Strain into a coupe.

Inspired by Death & Co. Denver’s Five Points and its resemblance to Carroll Gardens, both featuring Punt e Mes and Amaro Nardini but with distinct base spirits and nutty elements, I created my own variation. Replacing the spirit with aged apple brandy and choosing oxidized dry sherry for a nutty touch, I drew inspiration from Wit’s End's It's a Long, Long Way cocktail. The apple theme led me to think of Orchard Street in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, just a short walk from Five Points.
