At a restaurant with an unremarkable cocktail list, Dan Chadwick passed over a gin, Campari and triple sec "Martini" and chose a Strawberry Margarita made with fresh purée. Tequila's robust character seemed likely to pair well with bitter flavours, so the creator replaced the strawberries with Campari.
