The Negroni Grog is a blend of a classic Negroni and the Navy Grogs from Don the Beachcomber and Trader Vic. Combining Campari with grapefruit and allspice seemed like a natural fit, promising a delightful taste. Given the gin-focused bar setting, I decided to switch up my tropical drinks by using gin instead of rum.

- Vigorously agitate until well chilled.
- Strain this mixture into a tall glass and gently pour in 1 ounce of soda water.
- Pack the glass with crushed ice, then adorn it with an orange slice, a maraschino cherry, and a twist of lime.
- Alternatively, you could serve this in a double old fashioned glass fitted with a Navy Grog ice cone.
