Gin, Campari and sweet vermouth stirred with a touch of Fernet Branca and a lemon twist. Bitter and herbal. Created by Christopher Bevins in a home bar in 2012.

Christopher Bevins created the Negrino at a home bar in 2012 and named it after the creator's Italian and Portuguese heritage. The gin is French, but the Portuguese origin of Ferdinand Magellan gave the creator a link to it all the same.

Instructions

  1. Mix and strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.
  2. Rim the glass with a twist of citrus peel and then drop the peel inside.
  3. For a neat serving, set the peel alight before adding it.
