Instructions

  1. Fill a highball glass with crushed ice.
  2. Add the dark rum, lime juice, chili pepper sugar syrup and filter coffee to a shaker with ice.
  3. Shake until the shaker is cold.
  4. Strain into the glass over the crushed ice.
  5. Garnish with a sugar cane swizzle stick and star anise.
