Monsieur Big Thyme
🥃0
Shake Gin, St-Germain, Fleur De Thym, Bigallet Bigallet, Honey Syrup with ice. Strain into a coupe.
When I initially mixed the Monsieur Big Thyme using equal parts gin, elderflower liqueur, thyme, and lemon juice, it was overwhelmingly thyme-heavy, reminiscent of a dish that had too much seasoning. It felt like an assault on the senses, a "thyme bomb." Adjusting by diluting the liqueur with honey syrup improved things, but I'm still refining the balance of ingredients.
