A smoky take on the Old Fashioned built on two kinds of Scotch, rich sugar syrup and a touch of lemon juice. Ginger bitters and a few drops of saline solution sharpen the sweetness, and a mist of peated whisky adds peat smoke on the nose.

Instructions

  1. Chill a rocks glass.
  2. Add the Scotch whisky, Islay Scotch whiskey, sugar syrup 'rich', lemon juice, ginger bitters and saline solution 4:1 to a mixing glass.
  3. Fill with ice and stir until well chilled.
  4. Strain into the rocks glass.
  5. Garnish with a mist of peated whisky from an atomizer.
