Shake Rhum Agricole, Mezcal, Simple Syrup, Lime Juice with ice. Strain into a coupe.

At Loyal Nine, my drink of the day was inspired by the Mr. Howell to craft a smoky Sour. I opted for rhum agricole and mezcal instead of white rum and Islay Scotch, while retaining maple syrup and lime juice from the original recipe. To balance it out, I added Angostura Bitters. The name comes from a 1987 song by Television Personalities, which might have been inspired by a British TV series from 1984.
