Mellow Negroni

A softer Negroni built on gin and sweet vermouth, with Aperol and a smaller measure of red bitter liqueur keeping the bitterness gentle. Orange and herbal notes lead, and a couple of drops of saline solution round off the edges.

Instructions

  1. Chill a rocks glass.
  2. Add the gin, red bitter liqueur, Aperol, sweet vermouth and saline solution 4:1 to a mixing glass with ice.
  3. Stir until well chilled.
  4. Strain into the chilled rocks glass.
  5. Garnish with an orange slice wheel.
