Instructions

  1. Fill a mixing vessel halfway with ice straight from the freezer.
  2. Add the bourbon, rye whiskey, amaretto and Marsala and stir until well chilled.
  3. Place one large ice cube, also from the freezer, in a rocks glass.
  4. Strain the drink over the cube.
  5. Garnish with a good-quality Maraschino cherry if you like.
