Instructions

  1. Chill a cocktail (martini) glass.
  2. Add the mezcal, lemon juice, simple syrup, amaro and salt to a shaker with ice.
  3. Shake hard until well chilled.
  4. Strain into the chilled glass.
  5. Twist the grapefruit peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it in or place it on the rim.
