> Ice a Martini glass.
>Fill a stainless cocktail shaker with ice:
Add 1.5 oz Maker's Mark,
Add 1 oz Italian sweet vermouth,
Add 0.5 oz Luxardo cherry liqueur,
Add 2 dashes Angostura bitters (yellow cap).
> Shake till its too cold to hold.
> Dump the ice from the Martini glass and place one or two Luxardo maraschino cherries in the glass; on a pick if you wish.
IMPORTANT: no cheap day-glo-red faux maraschino cherries!
> Strain the drink via the shaker's strainer into the glass.
> Sip slowly, but finish while still cold.
>Rinse glass, and repeat as necessary.
