Instructions

  1. Chill a large 16-ounce thin crystal goblet and pack it with crushed ice.
  2. Place a sugar cube soaked in Angostura bitters right in the middle of the ice.
  3. Pour cognac over the sugar, followed by chilled champagne to fill the glass.
  4. Finish by gently floating green Chartreuse on top.
  5. Do not garnish.
