Shake Irish Whiskey, Cream, Crème de Menthe, Crème de Cacao with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.

In 2022 on St. Patrick's Day, a customer at Drink asked for a creamy minty cocktail. Rather than using Bailey’s, I went with heavy cream to make an Alexander-style drink. By swapping half the crème de cacao for crème de menthe and adding Glendalough 7 Year Old Irish Whiskey, I created what I called the Irish Grasshopper. This concoction was a hit that night, and I made it several more times when requested later in the week.
