A shaken drink with rye whiskey and sweet vermouth at its base, lifted by a little orange and lemon juice and rounded out with pineapple gum syrup, maraschino liqueur and orange bitters. Created by Greg Shutters in 2021.
In 2021, Greg Shutters devised the Interborough to mark the release of the creator's font LaFarge, which draws on early-1900s mosaic signs in the New York subway. The name refers both to the Interborough Rapid Transit Company, a private operator that predates the New York City Transit Authority, and to the classic borough cocktails of New York.
