Hurricane Franklin

Shake Trinidad Rum, Amargo-Vallet, Velvet Falernum, Lime Juice with ice. Strain into a coupe.

The Hurricane Franklin is a drink inspired by Hurricane Irma, which hit Florida in 2017. Interestingly, a trademark application for this cocktail was filed with the USPTO on September 10, 2017, just one day before its intended release date. The applicant, Eurie Bordenave, requested that the name be altered, leading the editor to rename it Hurricane I 2017.
