Holland House
🥃0
Shake Genever, Dry Vermouth, Lemon Juice, Maraschino Liqueur with ice. Strain into a coupe.
The Holland House cocktail has an intriguing history. It first appeared in Kappeler’s "Modern American Drinks" around the turn of the century as a rye whisky Crusta with orange eau de vie and Peychaud’s. However, by 1930, when it was included in the Savoy Cocktail Book, it had transformed into a gin-based drink somewhere between an Aviation without violet liqueur and a Martini.
