Instructions

  1. Pour the Green Chartreuse into a rocks glass and tilt it so the liqueur coats the inside.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and set it aside.
  3. In a mixing glass with ice, combine the Cognac, Scotch, Peychaud's Bitters, Angostura Bitters and Simple Syrup, and stir until cold.
  4. Empty the first glass, discarding the ice and any Chartreuse left in it.
  5. Fill it with fresh ice and strain the stirred drink into it.
  6. Garnish with a lemon zest twist.
