Ingredients: 1 dash Lavender Bitters; 60 ml Gin; 6 lf Mint Sprig; 4 lf Fresh Basil; 1 sli Orange; 1⁄4 tsp Absinthe; 10 ml Campari; 15 ml Dry Vermouth; 15 ml Crème de Violette

Shake Gin, Dry Vermouth, Crème de Violette, Campari with ice. Strain into a coupe.

While tasting the Rainy Night and Erik Satie cocktails, both containing Crème de Violette, I found aspects I enjoyed and disliked in each. In a moment of frustration, I mixed them together, and that’s how the Hater's Blend was born.
