Gypsy Rose
🥄0
Stir Gin, Apple Brandy, Dry Vermouth, Raspberry Syrup with ice. Strain into a coupe.
I noticed the raspberry syrup next to the dry vermouth, sparking thoughts of a Martini. I decided to blend gin with apple brandy, similar to a Pink Lady. The raspberry syrup reminded me of the Florodora cocktail and inspired a Ziegfeld Follies-themed name. So, I named it Gypsy Rose after Rose Louise Hovick's stage name when she performed as a burlesque dancer and Ziegfeld girl in the 1930s.
