Instructions

  1. Combine ale, apple brandy, rye whiskey, and maple syrup in a shaker.
  2. Swirl gently to remove carbonation from the beer for about half a minute.
  3. Add an egg and shake vigorously without ice for 45 to 60 seconds.
  4. Then add ice and shake again for 15 to 20 seconds.
  5. Strain twice into a collins glass and top with grated nutmeg as garnish.
