Instructions

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice, pour in the absinthe and top with water.
  2. Let the glass stand while you mix the drink.
  3. Add the bourbon, cognac, Peychaud's bitters and Angostura bitters to a shaker with ice and shake until cold.
  4. Empty the glass of ice, water and any leftover absinthe, so only a coating remains.
  5. Fine strain the drink into the coated glass. It is served without ice.
