Instructions

  1. Chill a cocktail glass until cold or frozen.
  2. Shake the dark rum, orange bitters, amaretto, Angostura bitters, triple sec and lime juice with ice.
  3. Strain into the chilled glass.
  4. Pour the absinthe gently over a bar spoon so it settles as a layer on the surface.
  5. Garnish with an orange wedge and/or a brandied cherry.
